The "Tweaking Your Teaching with Technology" professional development strand is off and running! In the first session, teachers learned about ThingLink. We took a look at samples of how other teachers are using it in the classroom and learned how easy it is to make your own. ThingLink can be used as a focal point during a teacher directed lesson, as a center during station time, as a "filing cabinet" to organize unit materials, or for individual student projects. Teachers simply choose a picture and add "tags" to it. The "tags" are buttons that contain informational text, website links, questions, or embedded videos. Below you will find samples of how our own teachers are using ThingLink in their classrooms.
